Waiting for Results

Update

The results of Areas 1, 2 and 4 are in. Area 3 submitted only the top 3 teams. We will not be able to rank the teams unless the scores are complete.

To recall, the first placer in each area automatically qualifies to the Sectoral Finals. To determine the other qualifiers, we gather the scores of the remaining teams in all the 4 areas and arrange these scores from highest to lowest. The top 10 highest scorers (regardless of area) are qualified to compete in the Sectoral Finals.

When are you going to post the merit awardees for the High School Category A? You have already posted those of the elementary level.

mrs. villame, i agree with the comment/observation/suggestion of ROA. to quote:
"ROA said...
We're new participant in Mtap. We are hoping for a fresh questions as the usual old questions are memorize by all the permanent competing schools already as a result a newbie can not get in even the students are good.
If this will always be the case, then winners will always be the Chinese schools and few other schools who have collected enough oral questions for their students to memorize.
New questions should be prepared each year. So all schools will get a chance to compete fairly."

Ms. Villame, does this mean there will be a total of 14 teams that will be competing in each of the level for the sectoral competition?
